Professor Seegert was one of the best professors that I have ever had! He was a great teacher and provided homework and quizzes that helped me learn everything
very well! His positive and engaging attitude made this class a blast!
The course was very well structured. The units were split in such a way it made it easy to know exactly where to go for a certain topic. This was useful when
needing to go back and review. The answer keys for practice problems also were helpful in providing a very short summary of the unit. I also appreciated the in
class examples. Working with my peers to practice something I had just learned helped when remembering what I had learned. It was also helpful to see where this
part of economics applied to the world, showing me this wasn't just something I was going to use in this class and never think about again. Getting my hands dirty
was a huge help in learning about economics and why it is going to impact me no matter what I do in life.
The instructor was very fun, but he didn't distract from learning with being fun. Instead he used the element of fun to help economics stick in my head. It helped
keep class engaging and interesting. Class was something I looked forward to coming to and I always knew I was going to learn something that day. He was also the
one of the most encouraging teachers I ever had. He knew we could all crush the course and do well and he made sure we knew that. He encouraged me to push
myself and to do my best. And he always encouraged questions. He was very willing to help anyone who didn't understand anything even outside of class. He also
made sure if a question would be one shared by multiple students everyone would have access to the answer through discussion boards (please keep these, they were
so useful). He made sure we had access to every resource we may need and pushed us to all do the best we could in class.

I liked that there were multiple ways to solve a problem and that it didn't matter what way we solved it, as long as it made sense to us. Dr. Seegert did a great job of explaining hard concepts and I enjoyed the class because it was explained simply and it was made apparent to me how this would apply at my job.
One of the best professors I have ever had. he challenged us, made the course fun, and is able to teach difficult concepts in a way that i could understand. I highly recommend, Prof. Seegert, to any student wanting to learn economics.
The course was intense but the professor was invested in us learning the material. He somehow managed to make economics fun which was impressive in its own right.
This was a course I was dreading and you made it fun and engaging. I learned a lot and feel like we emphasized how to apply what we learned to decision making which I appreciated.
I studied economics for my undergrad and I learned way more in this 10-week class than I did for my entire undergraduate major. Seegert did a great job presenting the material and ensuring everyone was learning and keeping up. Excellent instructor.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I loved taxes by the end of the course! I really felt like the class was going to be extremely gray, with just the typical brain
dump of knowledge on power points, but Nathan was able to make taxes so colorful!
He did a great job of teaching course content by inviting/answering student questions. He really tailored the class to those in the room. Also, for not having a lot of background in taxation, it was taught at an understandable but challenging level. It was great.
There is no better professor to teach this course. Complete mastery of the material, and his passion for the content makes it much easier to soak in the information and retain it.
